Well I don't know if you know this but my mother is an immigrant from Haiti.Since Haiti is part of my heritage I am very knowledgable on Haiti and most subjects pertaining to it.What I think Haiti needs is a goverment with control. Not a goverment that is working toward capitalism.Capitalism so far has never pulled any third world country out of debt, unless of course rich western nations pratically through money at it.I mean Haiti would probably even be better off with a dictatorship like Castro.Someone needs to go in and use force to take control. And I am not saying the United States.I think Haiti needs a native force governing it.One that is willing to go at all lengths to reduce the poverty stricken country.Socialism must be utilized to help spread wealth. And other countries should not just jump in and isolate them just because they are ignorant and feel socialism is an evil system of government.Haiti will get nowhere with a capitalist system. There isn't really anything to sell. Most of Haiti's educated classes have left and have absolutely no desire to return. If the government stepped in more and helped educate the people it would create a new educated class which then would be able to educate more and eventually the would be able to have some sort of thing to sell to the outside world, wheather it would be industry, technology or farming.I see no other way to pull Haiti out of it's economic troubles.Oh and Reperations from france for enslaving them.

Add some thoughts I didn't try to develp mine to much.

I Agree with you - Completely - Haiti is now under the control of
capitalists who are in the 1% and control 40% of the Wealth in Haiti.
Socialism is needed because of the current situation it's now in.
But in order for that to happen - someone must take action -
not talk! The Haitian people need a choice! A REAL Choice!

Somehow the bush administration thinks capitalism will help distribute the wealth in Haiti, when it has done the exact opposite in America. Bush needs his head examined.

yes, they need a socialist revolution to wipe the slate clean. Those fucking rebels are nothing more than goons and the government nothing more than oppressing politicians.

No, Bush administartion thinks the complete opposite of that, they know that with capitalism there will be absolutaly no wealth distribution. -

Thats what they think, so of course they say the opposite of what they think, and say the opposite of whats going to happen

I mean, an unequal destribution of wealth is what they want...so go figure

Thats what oh so desires to go towards

Sadly though, the US isnt stupid, they know that that form of govt. is underway, they dont want another Cuba, and they dont want another domino theory nor anyting interfeiring with what they call the "Grand Area"

So they will send in troops and do whatever is possible to subdue the crowd and make them go back in line.

Its not the peoples place to be running a democracy after all (in the eyes of the US)
