Fascism in Italy: "Rome, Open City" Film & Discussion May 11

This landmark film of Italian neo-realism was made in 1945, and is often cited as one the greatest films ever made. Roberto Rossellini's portrait of life under the Nazi occupation remains remarkable for its sheer immediacy, tension and power. The letter puts a challenge to religious communities to not stand on the sidelines in the face of the injustices and atrocities being perpetrated by the Trump/Pence regime.
