Its seems in Europe and America there are many right wing groups, Neo-Nazis, Pagan front, National Front, BMP, KKK etc. What Do people on The left think of it?
What can we do about it? Suggestions?
Also what are predictions for the future?

I don't think we should just ignore these fascist groups or underestimate them. These organizations are modern day versions of the Nazis. Back then there was Hitler, Mussolini and Franco. Now, there is Le Pen, Haider and some other demagouges. These people thrive on economic crisis and social problems. They pretend to care for the poor and disadvantaged. But if they come to power, they will serve the interests of big business just like the fascists of 70 years ago did. They will outlaw unions and strikes and unleash a reign of terror against leftists and liberals. Although it may seem unlikely today, it is conceivable that the European countries and even America could come under fascist rule. Anything is possible.

These types do not use reason. They use bullying tactics and intimidation. Freethinkers and democrats just use non-violence when dealing with these tyrants. Once they come to power, it will be extremely difficult to remove them. We must act now to prevent them from gaining power. We should demonstrate and speak out against racism. We should act to expose the lies of fascists. We should provide the masses with an alternative to tyranny. If the fascists do manage to come to power, we must be ready. If we make a stand now, we will be preventing a tragedy from occuring in the future.

I agree. The question is, who are these leaders of the different right-wing organizations across the country?
If we can get a master list of the rightists, then we can determine their force. They're a violent, bullying, self-righteous group, so i'm sure the people at the heads of those organizations are outspoken about their beliefs.

I can't speak to the situation in Europe, but in the USA, the real fight against white supreamacy and racism is the fight against the pigs, the military, militarization of the border, depopulation and dispersion, gentrification of urban areas, etc. What young activists fail to realize is that the system is already white supreamacist and most of the time, the fight against clowns dressed up in SS uniforms is a distraction from the real fight. If you want to fight against white supreamacy, then fight against the militarization of the border with Mexico, fight against people like Pat Buchannon, O'reiley, Samuel Huntington, and Tom Tancredo or fight against Police brutality and the militarization of police. Fight against the system's attempts to separate the "fish from the sea" through dispersion of the urban poor.

The masses do not choose tyranny. Rarely in history did the people choose a dictatorship. Facing ugly and desperate situations, they need change. No matter what kind. Tyranny becomes a "needed wrong".

We must be ready before the fascists takes power. The chance of succeding after are too small. As you said earlier, we should provide the masses another option.

If it wasn't from the intensice propaganda and the wide spread anti-semitism, the communist might have been able to take power in Germany. They were very influent.

George W. Bush is no Hitler or Mussolini, but I believe that his actions abroad, especially in the Middle East, have proven that he is a racist and fascist.

The issue can be very easily solved.

It depends on how organised the workers are. In Britain we have well structured trade unions, and even with some unions being victims of conservative leaderships, they are forced due to their own positions being under threat to fight fascism.

With an left wing leadership (as is the case with many trade unions who have shifted left in the last 2-3 years), we can actively fight racism and fascism, only through mass workers action can fascism be beaten.

What do members think about joining their local trade union and agitating for action, this in my opinion is the best and easiest solution.

In terms of youth, we must build up the youth organisation(s) and use these organisations to spread marxism, and defeat the rise of racism within the next generation.

left wing unions are good. in new zealand there is a union drive happening.
George W bush is right-wing, what I was more talking about was Neo-Nazi etc right wing. People of the extreme right. People who want to kill immigrant to ''make the homeland clean'' sort of thing.
I am happy Spain elected a Left government - I hope they do good. It seems so often socialism/communism is defeated/altered.betrayed. we need to stand strong, united and really work out what we are fighting for. there are differences always, that is sometimes good - no one way will always work.
seen_che it is sad abot the Nazi girl. I have had friends who became racist/inspired by neo nazi bullshit. they grew out of it :) it is hard when people try to find a sollution for their perceived problems by demonizing foreigners. If you do try talking to her - ask her why nazism will change things and how... really push her and challenge her without attacking and insulting her. i dunno sumtimes its easier to leave people to themselves.

I think roman gave a good account of the situation in the US. In Europe its a bit different. Here the far Right combines welfare-type policies, capitalizing on the failures of Europian "Socialists" (Social-Democrats), with Xenophobic, Demagogic rhetoric. In other words: Vote for me and I will help you with welfare policies, unless you're Black, Arab or Slav. This sort of thing, disgusting though it is, appeals to alot of people because times are hard and the main political parties do nothing to solve the problems of the poor.
