Rising tendencies of crypto-fascism and straight up fascism in Europe and the US. A minimal rising of left-wing parties and politicians (but not the revolutionary left). Continuation of Putin's conservative bourgeois dictatorship in Russia. In Hungary, there will be elections; so the ruling party and the inextricably linked ruling class will solidify its power, so we continue our downward spiral to full blown 21th century fascism. Hopefully the US, China, and Russia will not blow up the whole world during their neo-imperialist campaigns. 2018 will probably bring the end of Rojava as we know it.

To put it short I think its going to be a nightmare in the realm of politics. But I'm not fully pessimistic, because at least we are going to have some nice music in the meanwhile (the indie, lo-fi, diy scene is getting bigger with every month where I live).

Well there has been much agitation among the Thracian gladiators in recent months. But will the proles side with the slaves when they are pitted against eachother due to the machinations of the generals and patriarchs?

the one in Germany. where it only lasted like 7 days. you know the one that nobody talks about. to be honest it could happen if the Left was to unite and decide to overthrow capitalism, it would also be likely that trump would send Right-Wing Paramilitaries to fight them, so that if any negativity comes to it he could just say that it was extremists not him who are killed all the Revolutionaries.

I don’t think the left, even United, would have the base of support for a revolt of that kind. But we still have almost 2/3rd of a year to go! Things could change quickly I guess :)
