What a snobby and petty-bourgeois way to criticise.

You give no suggestion on what would be better.

Also, what makes you think that everyone can understand so called "real political science texts"? This is meant to be a basic intro to Marxism course, and not everyone, especially working class and poor youth have went to college/university (including myself).

Also, all of the readings are from promenent Communists. The first reading is by Bill Bland, who founded the Stalin Society and Communist Party Alliance in the U.K.

The second is from the Draft Program of the Revolutionary Communist Party USA and would have been compiled largely by it's leader, Bob Avakian.

The third one is from David Lethbridge, an old and promenent member of the Communist Party of Canada, who has written several essays, and books as well as articles in the People's Voice. He also founded the Norman Bethune Institute for Anti-Fascist Studies.

The last reading is from Michael Parenti, and I don't think I even have to say anything to praise him... I am sure everyone on here can account for that.

The references are from marxists.org, a web site that most of us use often, and surely appreaciate it being available.

Now thirdly, I am going to ask you what you do as a revolutionary organizer....

I am General Coordinator of Young Left in Toronto. We host these study groups every Sunday, we have launched actions and campaigns, we host a monthly event called Cafe Che, and we organize marginalized youth in there communities with our Decipher-Red Youth Program, among other things....

I am the Committee Coordinator of the Rebel Youth Network (Organizing Committee), which is the building of an all-Youth Anti-Imperialist United Front across the First Nations, Quebec, and Canada. Among other things, I have written many documents on our tactics, and played a large role in the writing of the constitution.

I am on the executive board of Canadian Friends of Soviet People.

I am on the Committee to Reclaim May Day.

Hungry for Change II Organizing Collective. Hungry For Change is a Youth activist summit.

and lastly, I am a member of the Communisty Party of Canada (Marxist-Leninist) and will be running in the Federal Election.

So what do you do that makes you worthy of criticizing us in that manner?

You should read _Settlers: the myth of the white proletariate_ by John Sakai. Settlerism, rather than fascism, is a much more valuable way to understand the reactionary politics of white nations in North America.

I have not read that one personally, but one of our members actually did recommend that for study. However, the problem is that it is not available online, so it is much harder to get the readings out to people.

I think we may do that book as a study by itself sometime in the future.
