Germany Still Hasn't Paid for Its Sins

Even though lots of you have probably already read this book long ago, I have only gotten to it today.

So after a delightfuly revealing chapter about America's lack of participation in international aide to the third world and the disgusting state of things right here, I got to this chapter. "Germany Still Hasn't Paid for Its Sins - And I Intend to Collect" is a chapter where Micheal Moore expresses his long-lingering hatred for Germans who haven't paid enough for Germany's attrocities in WWII. He radicaly, as always, says that Germans ought to pay more money, more land, and even be killed for having murdered over 10 million people in the hollocaust. He enthusiasticaly instrcuts Floridian Jews to take arms agaisnt Floridian Germans. Florida, by the way, he describes as "full of bugs, humudity, and stupid people running around with guns [...] I wish i could just snip the state where it hangs off the rest of the country."

I hope I am not alone in thinking that this guys is extremely confused in believing himself to be a progressive writer.

He belongs in the humor aisle as i have always said he does.

all i know is that germany owed a the alied forces {or whatever} 9billion {or so} i don't know what curency that was in but i know that after all the damage it was 9billion and that was foe all the deaths and weapons and shit... my slow history class is going over this right now so that's what supposedly happened i mean i know the money part is pretty true... si el rio ase ruido es por algo :unsure:

Almost all of Moores writing is humour, I read it too, and it's funny. Read the chapter in Stupid White Men about his militia...he's not being serious most of the time.

germany didn't just kill 10 mil in the holocaust, remember the 20 mil soviets the killed, 5 mil of which were in leningrad, poor civis, germans need to pay back what they owe!

I agree, he is an idiot, but I think he often just tried to be funny. Unfortunately, he gets worked up by western propaganda whilst attempting to express left-wing views; this is the result, in addition to him being quite irrational. Although he has skills in journalism, thus he is popular. He should let someone else do more of the intellectual work.

Germany needed to change its society, thats what the Baider Meinhoff gang were about, they said there were too many remnants of the past in West Germany. I think they were right, I think that now Germany has changed more so, however, under capitalism it will never defeat fascism. Under capitalism a country is always in danger of supporting fascism in other countries or elements of fascism emerging in its own country. German should be more mindful of this considering its past. But no one should be attacking any German on that basis, verbally of physically.

I hope that ignoramos Michael Moore wasn't serious with that point. What country has ever done better than Germany in paying reparations? The Jewish companies supposedly collecting money for Holocaust survivors are the real gangsters.

Michael Moore is though, certainly not "hillarious" or "humerous"!!! How can applaud or encourage extreme ignorance?

I was lent a copy of stupid white men, and couldn't read past the first chapter because of its blatantly ignorant and extremeist solutions!

Michael Moore criticises the hell out of the American media, but then uses the America media as the entirety of his journalistic sources (read the endnotes in stupid white men if u don't believe me!)

I do salute the man for saying some very brave thinsg that would normaly never be seen in mainstream media.

But certain things he says are incredibly stupid.
