Basically, I'm writing a persuasive article for school. It's part of a larger project I'm doing on Che Guevara and the Cuban Revolution --- thus, I've decided to write my article about Cuba. I'm choosing to argue (I can't get overly radical) that Cuba is most certainly not a "failed country" as is argued by much of the western world.

So, I was wondering if any of you could provide me with some information and statistics showing that Cuba is not a "failed country." If at all possible, less biased (leftist or rightist) is better.

I suggest you do the research yourself. You will get a better perspective than relying on others.

(I should have a button I can click and it will type that out for me, say 4 times a week, average?)

Never thought I'd say this, but I really get tired of having to type out the successes of Cuba several times a week. You see that little link at the top of this page that says "search" click it and you should be able to find a lot of stuff. Here's a few links also with information for you:

Cuban government website (http://www.cubagob.cu)

UK Cuba Solidarity Campaign, with pages defending achievements of Cuba's government. (http://www.cuba-solidarity.org.uk)

Hope these provide some help

Believe it or not the CIA has very good information on Cuba on their website. If you take the data from there and compare with just about every third world nation Cuba will be beter off nine times out of ten.
