Seriously?
Okay, then don't.

this thread has a misleading thread title with a link to some other website's survey, also placed in the Practice forum for some reason. Can you stop doing things like this and go back to contributing more like you used to? If you can't I understand but could you maybe follow 2-3 of the events you post about to their conclusion and wait a week or two before tabling the stalled ones and beginning new feeds.

Yeah, I agree -- the title is pretty vague. Please think of this as the exception to the rule, though -- most titles are clear and appropriately introductory.
The previous method of copying-and-pasting-and-cleaning-up-text-and-adding-BBcode-tags from emails was too labor-intensive, so this RSS feed routine is better.
I allow unique-subject new threads to stay out in the open on either the 'News' or the 'Practice' forums, but I consolidate as many threads together as possible under a single title if possible, everywhere.
Most of the notices that I put into 'Upcoming Events' don't usually have follow-up notices on how the event went, so it's better not to *expect* that as a regular thing.
There are no 'stalled' news items -- either there's follow-up, or there isn't.
I call all of the syndicated content here at RevLeft as an 'RSS feed' -- they actually originate from a number of different sources, meaning various different individual RSS feeds.

It's not better for the board.
Also, if you're too busy to put useful posts into this board and moderate your own content that you are posting, then you should step down as admin.

I believe that you are doing everything you can to keep what you are currently doing as organized as it can possibly be, which is appreciated, but my criticism is that what you are doing isn't conducive to a discussion forum because even at its most organized point it still impedes discussion and spams the board.

Well, I can't agree with you on your latter points here -- my position is spelled-out at this other thread:
Since the board has been slow lately I think it's good to be able to provide some syndicated news content, even if it's not a substitute for actual discussion.
If anyone wants to discuss *off-of* any given news item, that's always available, and it does happen sometimes.
But I will note that *complaining* about news posts without actually contributing to the board is a non-starter -- at least there's *news* now, and it doesn't *preclude* discussion from everyone here.
I'll remain open to concrete suggestions regarding news-posting policy
