When essentially there are no true morals to hold us down. Only the rules that the strong can impose on the weak. That even if we executed a mass murderer it would bring no true justice for his death has no true impact then does those he killed. That increasing the quality of life for people is vastly useless. Is it to fight for our children to have a better life something we may never know of? What is the point of fighting for the future or fighting with the past? The human flame will extinguish and all the struggles will be silent. It is said the worst evil is that of good people remaining silent or something to that spirit. But essentially evil and good do not exist. Just things that may threaten our lives that are impermanent and fragile.
But then again perhaps the human consciousness and the consciousness no matter how primitive of all being perhaps changes into something different yet retain a slight piece of its self. Because physics teach us no energy can truly be created nor destroyed. And at the simplest level all beings and things are energy so perhaps that small part become something else. The flesh is eaten by the worm, the worm is eaten by the bird, the bird lays eggs which are eaten by a snake, etc. Perhaps this essence of all things this energy which gave birth to humans and all beings and things is perhaps the divinity. Because if a pool of amino acids can slowly evolve into something that can fully and actively be aware of its self, then essentially this knowledge is of the universe its self. Knowledge is energy, from the fanatical ravings of a mad man to the theories of scientists no knowledge is independent of energy. So maybe we don't have egotistical ghost like souls but perhaps imprints in energy are left. Not metaphysical or even fated but just the way of the universe. So perhaps there are beings who are made up of more active energy who we would call evolved. For when one looks the most minute life forms we cannot be so arrogant to believe we are the pinnacle of evolution.
So perhaps the claims of religions are too human. But to say there is nothing beyond us is arrogant, but then again maybe in the infinance of space time and all layers that are made up of all things we were the only ones. A fluke and the only simple expresion of this universe. Human dellusion and thought is not simply an expression of a need but out of an expression. That we are one whole and you and I will cease to exist but in many ways we still be here we just not know it as we do now. The human ability to create and explore was born out a knowledge always there around us. We jsut need to put each peice together to see it. Science can prove so much in time. There is to much to discover yet to say this is how it is for everything around us but its not bad to say we are born and we die. This is very true. Whether we become the worm or the bird or the butterfly or the other human.
