alright theres like a 60s-80s store in our city called Vintage Vinyal (i call it the hippy store lol) and u can choose from like old mags, a collection of over 10 000 vintage records, bob marley, che guevara etc shirts and like anything and everything (portebello road lol) from way back then. AND THEY HAVE CHE SUTFF like 5 t-shirst. 3 fabric posters. (one is his face with the cuban flag put into his face, the other him and his cigar, and the other just normal old red and black che. THEN! theres like a HUMOUNGUS che fabric poster like i mean huge like wall width. says hasta la victoria siempre at the bottom and its $25 CAN.
If theres any other che items u wana tell us about post here

Theres alot of debate on this site as whether to buy or not to buy Che memorbilia. And I do understand the pros and cons. I myself would have a hard time resisting not buying ALL the items you mentioned. But what good does it do to own such items? Especially as trendy as Che is in the U$ right now (in spite of the present administration)? Does it help our revolution to display our loyalties by advertising? Or is it merely putting money in a capitalists pockets?
Something to think about.......

The question is do you think it would take away from the honor of Che. Where would your money go? If it's just another small store working for a corporation, then don't be fooled with their merchandise. Personally I would check and find out. If permitting, I would definitely buy that big Che wall poster.

particuallry dont care where 10 bucks go but its like hmm whats the word id guess ud say honor or privellege or whatever u can think of to have a poster of him in my room with his famous quote. I am not advertising to the media, i am advertisiing to send the word out about che to people with no knowledge of him. So let the posters hang strong my friends!

lol i hate the change the subject, sorta, but my brother down in victoria found a commie sotre there (Essentially the cappies capitalise on the popularity of communist related merchandise) and he bought me a che guevara plush doll for my birthday! Its so funny...! I wouldn't have bought it, but it's a present, so it'll sit on my shelf, next to my che books!

How can having a che poster in your room "advertise" to other people?
I bought a che belt buckle over the internet and bought a bad ass che t shirt from this kid at school who bought it on the net (it didn't fit him so I bought it off him). I'd get that wall poster.
I really don't like the idea of people wearing stuff with che's image on it soley as a trend (which is the reason why he bought the shirt; he saw jay z wearing it and thought it was cool). But at the same time it's kinda positive because then those people go out of their way to learn who he was and what he was about (for the most part).
Somebody at my school stuck a sticker that has che on it in black in white advertising for some skate company on one of the "billboeards" at school. That pissed me off.

Hi there im a new member.
I was reading your post about che t shirts and that you bought one of your friend.
Is it the same shirt that jay z wore at mtv unplugged or is it a different design.
The reason im askin is because i have been searching for that t shirt on the net for a long time and just wondered if you know where i can buy it from or would you sell it to me.
thanx.

no it's not the jay z shirt but it's still pretty damn cool. I don't know where you can get the exact same one but I guess it'd be pretty easy to just buy a che shirt and then get "che guevara" printed on there.

anybody know where i can find a che hat??? like the one he was always wearin......
i do agree somewhat that having che materials is a contradiction to what che believed in, but it is a way to get out the idea of revolution.... and i can't deny our capitalist system so might as well live how i can within it, even when i don't agree with its policy....... if we hope to change it, we have to utilize the current system.

to be honest i wasn't really feelin the berets they sell on che-lives..... the star is waayy too big and it seems like a cheap knockoff..... i'd still wear it, but i'd like to see if i can find one a lil bit more comparable to the one that he wore
