I think its worth including this news report in here to underline how serious and strange the situation has become as Trump has conversations with lawyers of the scope of the Presidents pardoning powers. It mentions Brain C Kalt and his book "Constitutional Cliff-hangers:A legal guide for Presidents and their enemies" to look at some of the problems within the US constitution (which by the looks of it, the US is already getting an advanced class in "how to screw with the constitution" as it is). Some really basic norms of "bourgeois" democracy and law are being violated in the US in plain open sight rather than out of public view.
