First Fairtrade Banana

It is official, fairtrade bananas are now on the menu at the high school where I carried out an introductory fairtrade exhibit. Everyone is pleased with the improved size and taste of these bigger, organic, fairtrade bananas. The vending companies will get back to me soon, so that looks good at the moment also..but I will carry out similar days in the other 5 highschool around the Island before moving to primary schools next year.

Just wanted to celebrate...and plug something that I think is quite cool :)

My house has just started a Fairtrade tuck shop, I don't know how successful it will be. I'm supposed to be the manager but right now's not a good time.

I remember you saying something about that...It is good that we are all sticking to our plans:) I still trhink it wold be really good if we could organise somethinmg accross Britain though, I am sure there are plenty of Che-lives members and associates as a start for their areas.

If you would be up for it (perhaps after My/June exams) we could try and take on something really quite ambitious.
