Is that you Zippy?

Holding up that idiotic sign.

Capitalism is what makes the world more productive. What should we replace it with?

Communism = Bad Economics

I had pants like those, when I was around six years old. Around the time I would have advised we replace capitalism with "something nicer."

Thanks, Zippy. That made me laugh.

More productive? Lol. This is the biggest contridication within capitalism, because capitalism is a counter-productive system within it's self. There is no such thing as the "free" market due to the "free" dominance of the comercialization of counter-production. Capitalism fulfills the interests of the upper class, it fullfills the interests of a plutocracy. And that's what the U.S is today, a plucracy. It couldn't be more obvious. Capitalism is a form of imperialism in it's self, which is why it's absolutly no coincance that it's manifested into a global financial oligarchy; basicly a global economic government controled by a few people, who undemocraticly make decisions for everyone else. How the hell can you sit there and say capitalism is productive. We have more poverty in the world today, more ecological destruction, more people suffering and dying of starvation, more bombs dropping, generally more warfare, and a handfull of people get rich off it. About 5% of the population (i think it's actually less now) controls 100% of the worlds wealth. And this is productive? It's productive war, that's what it is. A war waged against anything in it's path. And people all over this world are living proof of that war. Yes, a war being waged against you, and everyone else here. The average worker, for example makes minimum wage, $5.50 an hour. While his labor contributes to the majority wealth of the corporation, which makes $100.00 and hour. 95% of the wealth his labor creates is stolen. He's paying the boss 95% of his paycheck to work for him! Who brings in the wealth for the corporation? The worker does! Yet the worker only gets 5% of the wealth his labor creates, while the corporation gets 95% ! And you're going to tell me this is producitve? Your going to tell me there is no war waged against the worker?

If capitalism is so great, then I want you to point out society driven by capital that has lasted more than a few hundred years. Point out ONE capitalist driven society that hasn't either downfalled, or been torn down by the people, which has lasted more than a few hundred years. You can't point out a single society. The only socities which have lasted longer than any capitalist/government driven society are commune socities which existed without any form of government, and lasted thousands of years.

I can't believe you call capitalism "productive", while the majority of the world suffers and slaves from it.

Oh, capitalism is productive all right, but only for that few 5%, which is what capitalist meant, because the other 95% of the population simply don't come into the equation for selfish people like him...

anyway, as for that pic, that is the cyderdelics, comedians who were taking the piss out of the anti-capitalist protests. It was on the TV and v. v. hilarious.
The guy in the red and black was 'frogger', described as "a mysterious figure about whom little is known", and who when they went to the cannabis festival ate a load of hash cakes and collapsed on stage when they were meant to be playing music...

oh, and the ambulance was their van, it had anti-capitalist slogans painted on the side, and a big Anarchy 'A' on the back doors.

"I'll go up against a tank with a shank for my dreams, and that's my fucking word" - Dead Prez

Nice quote antigovernment.

I seem to remember a Chinese Student who stood up against a tank during the 1988 Student Red Square Riot.

One Man

Stood in front of a line of Communists Tanks.

He had balls! - I wonder what ever happened to that student who protested against the Communist Regime in China.

I remember those same rioters even had a paper mache' image of the Statue of Liberty. China was quick to smash that riot. They were true Democratic Rebels.

That was true revolution.

was that after they had burnt twenty three soldiers alive in their armoured car~I mean respect due to the balls of some of these guys and girls~but what do you expect any army to do after they have just seen their friends torched~I may not agree with their heavy handedness~but I do not think your or my government would have acted any differently

Sorry Scargill.

No Capitalist, we do not support Stalin, Pol Pot...

Pol Pot=Nazi. I don't see how anyone can look at 2 people with identical policies and think they're at opposite ends of the political spectrum.

Pol Pot= Kill Vietnamese (Vietnamese have always suffered ethnic persecution in Cambodia)
Hitler= Kill Jews (Jews have always suffered ethnic persecution in Europe)

Pol Pot= Khmer Master Race
Hitler= Aryan Master Race

Pol Pot= Utopia for the Khmers
Hitler= Utopia for the Ayrans
