I used to love them, and as it happens the very first album I ever bought was their Dizzy Heights album.

And I still listen to it occasionally.

I didn't buy any C.D.'s for quite a while, everything was on cassette tapes, but I do roughly remember updating a few of myu tapes when they broke, and the first to break was Queen's Greatest hits 2 about 9 years ago. Shortly after that I found that Queen 2 was down...actually those tapes always seem to go on me, I bought Made in Heaven on its release date on tape, and I still haven't updated it yet, even though it broke just over a year ago.....still got a copy of night at the opera working from the first day it was available.

Tapes were far better.

My first CD was a Ted Nugent compilation, then immediately after that i bough "Big Hair Vol. 1".....As a 10 yr old i like the "80's cool rock". The stuff is still good, but my tastes vary from Classical to Hardcore.

greatest hits of joan baez. it began with the night they drove old dixie down and i forget what it ended with but it had eleanor rigby, there but for fortune, brand new tennessee waltz and some other stuff.

then it went downhill. my first few albums were:

I first bought cassettes and that was a Pet Shop Boys one, can't remeber which, have well moved on since then!!
First CD thankfully was more tasteful! Massive Attack- Mezzanine. then went out and bought the rest of there albums, then RATM's stuff.

Sublime's self titled release in 1996 (in my cd player now actually). :D ... well technically it was that and No Doubt's "Tragic Kingdom", but I suppose I ended up paying for Sublime first... heh. On any note Sublime's highly recommended for anyone even remotely interested in Indie Rock/Ska/Dub'ish stuff.
