Um, maybe? I honestly don't find the idea of living downtown for a prolonged period appealing even *if* I could afford it. I just don't think people who would make that choice should be prevented from doing so by decontrolled rent (or any rent, for that matter).

I meant it as a bit of levity, since you *wouldn't* be paying rent if you were part of a *rent strike*, presumably.
