um...ak-47&#39;s were made in 1947...hence the #47 in the name. there were better, newer models of the AK 47 made in the late 50&#39;s and early 60&#39;s in czechoslovakia.

i don&#39;t want to get into a gun arguement but yeah...it was created in 1947...but not mass produced until the USSR made it standard issue in 1951....Che was an M1 carbine man..we&#39;ve all agreed on this, this is just a mistake made by the artist...So there thats settled....

Then why make your earlier statement as if it were fact? And by the way, the Soviet government commissioned it for service in 1949 so as far as their army was concerned, it was mass produced then.
