U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown verbally attacked a top Bush administration official during a briefing on the Haiti crisis Wednesday, calling the President's policy on the beleaguered nation "racist" and his representatives "a bunch of white men."
Noriega later told Brown: "As a Mexican-American, I deeply resent being called a racist and branded a white man," according to three participants.
Brown then told him "you all look alike to me," the participants said.
I guess the white haters at BET aren't as interested in this as they were with Trent Lott wishing Strom Thurmond happy birthday.

Uhh, BET is owned by Viacom which is run by Mel Karmazin who isn't black. I guess he's a self hating white man though.
And that was a pretty stupid thing for Corrine Brown to say.

So who is at blame for haiti?
A bit off topic, but I can't let this slip.
Haiti is to blame for Haiti. We tried every possibilities, from the US to the international community passing by colonization.
The situation we are now facing already happened. Around 15 years of international interventions in the country did not change anything. The problem is right in the country.
I blame the elite. They throwed away every potential or sympathy Haiti had from the international community with their lame political fights. Haiti keeps on sinking deeper and deeper. It's totally desperate! They all claim to be fighting for democracy, but it's obvious that each side wants power for itself. Once again, the population is caught as a hostage between two blind sides.

....Your kidding right? News programs don't cover things all the time. Why? Because it's a buisness, they report to target audiences.
Fox News had a week long segment on Hannity and Colmes that ripped howard dean to shreds....why? Because the majority of thier viewers are conservatives. THey wouldn't have showed anything Howard dean did right, now would they?
They cover the news, but they also consider what to report.
Corrine BRown was stupid to say those things, but don't attack tthe station for not reporting on it. For one BET is an entertainment network..and second BET NEws isn't exactley 60 minutes

Way to quote Fox, Sloby. We all know that they're a reliable news source.
Amazing how peole who oppose USA intervension in other parts of the world are suddenly angered when the USA does not intervene in Haiti.
We are angered because we are begining to notice how the United States' government seems to only feel that some oppressed and down-trodden nations are worthy of 'liberation. We're upset because the United States invades Iraq claiming that they were a poverty-striken dictatorship-torn nation that needed our help, and then refused to do anything for Haiti (The friggin french are standing up for them, for christ's sake) when they happen to be in very similar conditions. To top it off, Haiti is right next to the United States, and the Bush Administration still doesn't seem to care. It further supports are theory that the Bush Administration invaded Iraq for economic reasons and not because George cares about the people there.
I say fuck Haiti. They are too fucked up to even be saved
Afghanistan and Iraq were both fucked up countries. Where was the fuck Iraq mentality last year? Why weren't they too fucked up to be saved? Why wasn't Afghanistan too fucked up to be 'liberated'.
Of course people cant blame Corporations for exploiting them because know company even want to put a factory in Haiti. So who is at blame for haiti?
That's downright untrue. There are many U.S based corporations that had essentially taken control of Haiti. Among these corporations include the U.S.-owned Rice Corporation of Haiti, whose parent company basically has a monopoly on rice imports. Both Disney and Nike have had corporations in Haiti, and Disney nearly had total control of the Haitian economy.

Larry Elder is correct, blacks seem to be more racist than whites. This just goes to show it. The typical white person would scared and not stupid enough to utter such bull shit because we dont want Jesse breathing down our necks and because most of u s know that it‘s plane wrong.
I know the conflict between the 2 races isn’t entirely solved yet but the black community better its act together or they will always live (in their minds) with the white man with his foot up their ass. step 1 is to get rid of those ass holes in the nation of Islam. I think we should round up the KKK and Nation of Islam, give all of them an AK-47 and lock them in a forest and let them finish their own deluded war away from the rest of us

Hatai is too fucked up because they have had more than 200 governments since their independence. Hell dont look at the US to solve this mess,. look at their brutal colonial oppressors-the French, his is their fault not Americas. Blame them.
anyway does anyone here care? this is obviously a popular uprising, the people are tired of that guy currently running the capitol. Let the masses decide.

Yeah, let them die!
Or better: enslave them for multinational corporations! So that the lazy bums learn to work hard! Even if their kids starve!
Yankees should go and kill them to stop their pain! Maybe by putting another dictator as they usually do! God bless Crapmerica!
