I'm excited to invite you to join me in Chicago for the People's Summit this June 9-11.
The presidency of Trump and his administration has unleashed a torrent of harmful actions targeting the environment and our most vulnerable communities. The resistance to his agenda is strong, but we need to do more than that. We are in a critical moment to unite our communities around a common vision of a just and sustainable future for all.

The People's Summit will be an action packed conferenced featuring progressive luminaries like Senator Bernie Sanders, Naomi Klein, Van Jones, Nina Turner, and many more as well as thousands of progressive activists from across the country ready to learn from each other, be inspired, and take action on our values.
Dates: Friday, June 9 - Sunday, June 11

Why is the Summit important?
Our fight for safe public water, healthy sustainable food, and a livable climate on which we all depend is tied up in fights for racial and economic justice and a functioning democracy. This Summit will draw connections across issues of environmental, economic, and racial justice, and begin to chart a course for building progressive political power in the Trump era.
What's going to happen at the Summit?
The weekend will include speakers and plenary and workshop sessions devoted to key issues such as the health care, educational justice, campaign finance reform, racial justice, among other issues. Food & Water Action Fund is helping organize panels on climate justice, rural organizing, and clean water.
We will also celebrate with music and get to know others like you who care about these issues. We will also plan how to move forward with an agenda nationally and locally to help build the broad movement for people and the planet.
