Chicago events against war

As the war making and threats continue by our government, military, and President Trump, please join us for a couple of events next week. On May 9th from 11 am to 1 p.m. we will have a peace vigil at the Chicago Federal Plaza with a penny poll, asking people whether they support war and the resulting effects, such as the deadly famine in Yemen.
On the next day, May 10th from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Ellen Thomas and Mary Dean will discuss World Beyond War: Ending the Nuclear Nightmare at the Rogers Park Library at 6907 N. Clark St., Chicago in the South Community Room.
