That’s right, UNAC’s national “Stop the Wars at Home & Abroad!” conference starts just six weeks from this Friday. It will run from June 16 to 18. More than 50 organizations are coming. There are more than three dozen confirmed speakers. There will be panels and workshops addressing the pressing issues of the day, from the wars abroad to the struggles at home.

Have you registered yet?

If you haven’t already done so, please register for the conference today. Space is limited and interest is building fast. All the information is at www.unacconference2017.org. The General Registration fee is just $35 for the three-day event, with a sliding scale for those who are low-income or who can afford to contribute more.

Are you proposing a workshop?

The conference will have Plenary Panels, attended by the whole conference, and Workshops, held in smaller breakout rooms. Workshops can be panels with speakers, general discussions, video showings (please bring your own equipment) or any other reasonable idea. (Any attending organization can propose a workshop, but priority will be given to UNAC affiliates.)

To propose a workshop, please send the title, a brief description, (how long? 30 min? 45? 60? 90?), the name of the sponsoring organization, the names and organizational affiliations of the presenters and your name and contact information to: [email protected]

Are you spreading the word?

UNAC operates with an entirely volunteer staff. You can help build this important conference by promoting it on your organization’s website, Facebook page and other social media. Downloadable posters and fliers for either printing or posting on social media are on the conference website: www.unacconference2017.org.
