Hi Chris,
The second episode of our 'In their own words' podcast is now live and it's a story you really have to hear.
This week's guest is Khadija Ismayilova, an outspoken Azerbaijani journalist specialising in reporting corruption. In 2012 she began to suspect she was being watched, but she didn't expect to be secretly filmed in her bedroom and blackmailed with the intimate tapes - by her own government.
Listen to Khadija's story now (http://webmail.amnesty.org.uk/_act/link.php?mId=J9189917074817578652428806464118&tId=225066245)
The government started propaganda on me being the ‘loose woman’. My brother, actually took his knife and came to kill me – because that’s what the tradition requires him to do. (http://webmail.amnesty.org.uk/_act/link.php?mId=J9189917074817578652428806464118&tId=225066248)

Khadija continued her reporting until she was imprisoned on false charges, spending over a year in Azerbaijan’s only Women’s prison. Released in 2016, she is currently under a travel ban, but was able to tell us her story over skype.
It's an important story to hear, listen now 'In their own words' podcast (http://webmail.amnesty.org.uk/_act/link.php?mId=J9189917074817578652428806464118&tId=225066278)
