I don't think it challenges anyone's understanding of the period: it is frankly quite ridiculous. I guess it could be seen as a semi-interesting fictional alternate history, if you're into that sort of thing, but it's more science fiction time travel nonsense than anything deeply researched that would challenge contemporary understanding. The thing about history and historiography is that there are years and years of research, multiple primary, secondary and tertiary sources and people aren't just going to swallow shit just because it's funnelled into their mouths.

Giant monkey man thank you for taking the time to watch the film I have recently put together and respond with your comment it means a lot. I will not lie on some parts of the movie that I had to speculate on a few parts I spiced up for a more entertaining viewing experience. However, having said that I do believe that it is as accurate of an understanding of what happened all those years ago as any contemporary documentary on that period of time. All documentaries are imperfect this is just the same history through a different lens if you will.
