Does anyone know anything about the current resistance to the regime in Belerus? Or a good source for current news on that situation.

The Belarusian regime is the most progressive of all post-Soviet regimes.Lukashenko is the only statesman of the post-Soviet space who did not allow the new-found comprador capitalists to privatize, plunder and waste the national wealth of the country.Belorussia has suffered from markert reforms least of all post-Soviet countries.The fact is that despite the elimination of the planned economy the country has not fallen into a market shit, but has left a big role for the state in the economy, thanks to which the country is developing quite rapidly.Also many Soviet social gains were preserved.So Lukashenko is one of the few politicians whose success stemmed from the fact of a true popular support.That's why anti-Lukashenko opposition has no chance.
