Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to visit the White House tomorrow, Feb. 15. President Donald Trump's pick for ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, is the president of an organization that funds Israeli settlements. His hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is on Thursday.

With Netanyahu's visit, we believe we may see even more U.S. support for Israeli policies that deny Palestinian rights, including the building of illegal settlements, and a further cementing of the “shared values” of racism and hate.

We are very concerned that President Trump will move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem in contravention of more than 50 years of U.S. policy.

We must seize this opportunity to say loudly and clearly

Israel is even retroactively legalizing previously illegal settlements.
