Interesting article about girls thinking that intelligent traits are more often suitable for males than for females.
And people on here still ask why feminism is needed. Because I think there are little setbacks which females encounter and males do not.

It works the other way around too. Girls are more beautiful, more patient, can pay attention to multiple things at once... should I go on? Society's way of thinking is harmful to both genders. This is what should be acknowledged. We don't have problems with feminism, we have problems with the fact that men's struggles are overlooked by this movement. And also that feminism is a reformist movement at best. It makes it possible to women too to become oppressors. (CEOs, politicians) but does not eliminate oppression itself. It's like if in the American Civil War they wouldn't have abolished slavery, only made it possible to blacks too to own white slaves.

That's why Marxist feminism and Anarcha-feminism exists.

All right, that is true. But wouldn't Marxism and anarchism in its 'pure' form (without putting the word "feminism" next to them) achieve all the goals feminists seek? I mean the equality of genders. Why do these people need to distinguish themselves from anarchists and Marxists and claim that their movement also adds feminism to these ideologies - implying that they lacked it originally?

Simple egalitarianism is bullshit to be honest. People don't exist in a vacuum, feminism is like it is because of the underlying power structures and and power relations are the way like they are. Historically this means the oppression of women, but here's another point of view: the patrairchy is harmful both for women and men. That means men suffer from the same structures, just in a qualitatively different way. Men of the 21th century carry the burden of the semmingly dead patriarchy and its traditions. The ideas of "manliness" are clearly toxic for example. So the traditions make both male and female people suffer, but it is also true that women have suffered and still suffer more because of it, and in this dichotomy they were and in some cases still are, the oppressed. This is why feminism is is called feminism and not simply egalitarianism. So that about the "egality of genders".
The other topic is simply that anarcha-feminism and marxist feminism are not clare et distincte separate and independent from revolutionary leftist lines of thought. People who claim to be anarcha-feminists or marxist feminists are usually making a point by declaring that, and they probably stress related issues harder, while maintaining a basic revolutionary leftist theoretical framework. Of course most, if not all actual communists an anarchists are (or more realistically, should be) feminists, feminism is usually an igredient to their worldview, but not the most important one.
