In the Wiki I found interesting information about leftist group called Young Patriots Organization active in Chicago 60-70. Do you know something more? Have you any sources?

As far as I know, the Young Patriots were a group of white working-class (or lumpen-working class, if you will) leftists who were essentially the white version of the Black Panthers. They were generally Maoist (much like the BPP) and their support base was composed of poor whites who'd migrated from depressed Appalachia to the slums of Chicago. They distributed firewood to poor families in the winter, proudly wore the Stars and Bars insignia (although to them it was a counter-cultural symbol, rather than a racist one), and even attempted to form a "Rainbow Coalition" with the Black Panthers, the Red Guard (based in San Francisco's Chinatown), and the Young Lords (a Latino leftist group). I doubt any of this stuff is new to you, but that's all I know about the subject.

Here's and old interview with one of the first members https://jamestracybooks.org/2016/01/28/revolutionary-hillbilly-an-interview-with-hy-thurman-of-the-young-patriots-organization/
They are also still active, although I imagine their original 40,000+ membership is down to less than a dozen people http://www.youngpatriots-rainbowcoalition.org/
