I wish that someone would point me toward an organization, here in the Kansas City area, which is actually struggling to defeat capitalism (not merely to reform it). To my knowledge, there are none. Unfortunately, I do not have the time or the skill-set to set up an activist organization on my own.

Personally I'm disappointed in all of the organizations of my country. No matter whether it is a party, a group or a trade union. But if there was a group which was actually sincere and wanted to defeat capitalism then I would definitely join. Alone however, I feel myself powerless, as someone who cannot do anything against the system. Even my acquaintances dismiss my ideas. If only there were others who feel the same. I would have nothing to lose. I don't have a family or anyone towards whom I must bear responsibility.

I can relate. Fortunately, all of the full-time members of my sociology department are Marxists of one sort of another. However, our approaches are too different for us to organize.

This "difference in approach" is actually one of the things why I'm disappointed in all of the organizations. I think that we, people on the left-side would be more strong if we united in order to fight against capitalism. I really don't see the point when there is a group with 5 members and they split into two other groups because they don't agree in some pointless detail about how the revolution should be done. If you want to listen to my advice, then you talk with these friends of yours and make them realize that it's better to unite your forces against the common enemy than to struggle alone in this social darwinist system hoping that one day there will be a revolution, like I do.

EVEN MY ACquaintances claim you read too much of socialist literature ,just care about establishing your career as you are a bright student look forward to join the government as a civil officer rather than building up castles of politics in the air.
I know they are demeaning my might but if I get weakened by only few close knit acquaintances how could I fight or call myself a revolutionary ?
Am I doing a revolution ,a hush falls over my raised voice the voice that once shook the foundation of imperialists in many a countries .In plain words in that case am a reactionary be frank to console your communist agenda and ideals with that consolation.I find myself weak why we are ready to join and unite .
Do you fear death or blood ?
Then you are not a red ?
you are not a breed of the red ?
is that agreed ?

REPLY TO CRITICALREALIST(Dr.Mark Foster)

I feel it a matter of prestige to talk with a multifaceted and multifarious communist who is also a Doctor of Philosophy of Sociology and you are comparable to Marx and Engels in scholarly achievements so far they are concerned, who theorised the idea of Communism yet never implemented it in reality in blood and action.

THats unfortunately what even I feel today because I see no actively zealous organizations left and that is what I have targeted to achieve. You say that communism is a transcendence beyond the barriers of nationality to progressive unity.
Why not unite to liberate .
Get prepared ,take heart for any aftermath ,don't fear suppression but believe in worldwide fraternity of leftists. We shall die together and breathe together if you really weigh your words.
Just disparaging or denouncing one cause or the other might be a medium or a way for you to draw solace by convincing yourself with moral justification but could you prove your might in a realistic essence ,I ask you, could you pick up the sickle and machete and start the revolution by calling your associates, neighbours ,giving speeches in town halls ,uniting your contemporary proletarians and colleagues. Can you fight against this present system .If not you consider yourself tiny and puny in the face of CAPITALISM.

Why don't you have that vigour ,you are highly educated and knowledgeable ?You are a Socialist and a preacher of socialism who formulated his own theses on Sociology and aren't you able to practise it in reality though you consider yourself to be a realist .

In this way you do nothing but underestimate your own skills and latent qualities ?If you mean your words really, you should be prepared to die for it che Guevara said that .

I am struggling to defeat capitalism and besides trying to find people with similar mind sets who are ready to carry forth an armed assault of this capitalist machinery.

Reply to Gavrilo93 ::::

My pleasure to find that someone really loves my cause indeed !
Always remember ,if there's a will ,there's a way.
Revolution is not impulsive but it has something to do with unity and solidarity and a strong honest upfront.
If no honesty and purity, chastity is there in your soul ,you become a tyrant at the end.It shouldn't be like that .There must be equality and freedom. We leftists should have equanimity or patience .Let us join hands and start a small offensive online .It might successfully grow enormously or even crash down.We should be positive in our approach since we are already looking at the negative side ,the problems faced by people is the negative side ,what else can it be ?
So let's join ,unite and liberate.TIf not at once but if possible in stages gradually and systematically even Russians overthrew the mighty Czar so why can't we defeat the Capitalist monarch ?

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF,EXPAND YOUR HORIZON

DONT LISTEN TO WHAT OTHERS SAY AND IF YOU DO SO,YOU DO NOTHING BUT CONSTRICT YOURSELF WITHIN THE LIMITS OF SOCIETAL EXPECTATIONS.TRY TO GET OUT OF IT AND THINK OUT OF THE BOX

I'd say that we often tend to think, perhaps subconsciously, that since we spend so much time around (revolutionary) politics, we're more 'political' than the average person -- which may be true -- but that doesn't mean that the everyday person is *not* political at all (though many aren't).

It may be helpful to begin with the door-opening question of 'Is the world perfect?' -- people may be downright *eager* to indulge your interest and curiosity in their personal worldview, which leads right into more-general discussions around politics.

I'll point out that phrases like 'common ground' and 'out on a limb' are more than just metaphorical -- they're *empirical* / material, or *structural*. As with *any* creative endeavor, politics has its 'low-hanging fruit' (more payoff for less effort), and then, higher-up, there are the 'finer points' (like the internal-revolutionary issue of centralization versus decentralization, etc.)

I absolutely agree that we should start from a perspective / platform of a 'united front', especially as it pertains to strategies and tactics around real-world events of struggle.

Please I stress upon united upfront but ideologies alone can't be turned into a fight. It needs tactics and a lot strategies and methods. That's the first .Then comes union as a whole against the adversary.Ideologies alone are blank rounds to make them sharp enough to disembowel the target you need to add a casing a lead bullet at its too that's the methodologies and inspiring people for a fight .The need for a fight and devotion of heart and soul for the sole cause.

Thank you for your kind response.

I did not say that I have not put communism into practice. I said that I have been unable to find a group of radicals (not reformists) in my area. On my own, I do what I can, including my work with the Autism community (http://neurelitism.com/).

That's indeed great ! You care for the downtrodden and hapless people of the society .I too donate for the mentally retarded and sometimes teach them when I get relaxed from work.
