1/21: Women's March in Illinois

Planned Parenthood

of Illinois

Dear Chris,

Since the election, Planned Parenthood has received an overwhelming outpouring in support of our mission. Many supporters have contacted us looking to take action for women’s rights and access to reproductive healthcare. Across the nation, hundreds of marches are being organized in conjunction with the Women’s March on Washington.

We hope that you will join Planned Parenthood of Illinois (PPIL) staff, volunteers, and supporters on January 21st at the local Women’s March on Chicago or the Springfield Call 2 ACTion Unity Rally. Anyone who shares our vision for reproductive rights, civil liberties, and compassion for our shared humanity is encouraged to attend.

Women’s March on Chicago
When: January 21, 2017 at 10 am
Where: The Petrillo Bandshell in Chicago’s Grant Park
If you’d like to walk with PPIL to the Petrillo Music Shell, please meet our supporters across the street from 18 S. Michigan Ave. at 9:15 am. Volunteers will be stationed there to distribute Planned Parenthood signs and materials on a first come, first serve basis.

Springfield Call 2 ACTion Unity Rally
When: Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm
Where: The Old State Capitol Plaza (south side of the Capitol building). Look for Planned Parenthood signs and materials to join fellow PPIL supporters.

If you are not in the Chicago or Springfield areas and would like to attend a local event, please visit this page to search for events by zip code.

If you’d like to take further action, please visit this page for instructions on how to call your senators, sign petitions, and share information with your network.

Thank you for standing with Planned Parenthood. We hope to see you on January 21st!
