The Intransigent Faction

This was beautiful to see. While fairly tepid and reformist in its substance, in the context of the "media honeymoon" and constant talk of high approval ratings, workers are still speaking up against two-faced King Trudeau the Second.

The best part was "I intend to keep all my promises."
Even so, there seems to be a general mood lingering in Canada of "Thank goodness Harper's gone." This is so even as Canada pressures Europe over CETA, Trudeau continues certain Conservative policies as timidly as possible, and Syrian refugees are treated as a symbol of how flawlessly humanitarian the government is even as it enables human rights violations by allowing weapons sales.
We need to push past this, bring the focus of the Canadian left past the romanticizing of the Liberals, and take the "We don't have dialogue with liars" attitude beyond the "niche community" of the CLC.
