so far the beginning of the motorcycle diaries is very descriptive. He was definitely good at writing about his surroundings. The metaphors and the adjectives used are very well-done...

I havent started on the African Dream, but i hear its good...

anyone read these titles? What'd you think of it?

I'm reading the Motorcycle Diaries for the second time, the first time I started reading it on the bus, nearly missed my stop I was so into reading it

yeah, it's a great book

I jsut bought it myself. Che is an amazing writer. So far I am up to the part where he shot the dog by accident :(

hmm, never read any personal writings of Che's. The motorcycle Diaries is something i'll definitely have to buy once i re-submit myself to capitalism....

The African Dream is a really good read, as it's written as a report and has some flow to it ( as opposed to the Bolivian diaries, which although interseting, I found a bit disjointed). The concluding chapter is really useful as it sums up Che's time in the Congo and the future prospects for the country, something which Che is surprisingly accurate about
