eeeekkkkk.. not that book!

John blackthorn is the pen name of former US Senator Gary Hart, who wrote the book.

I was given the book as a gift a couple years ago, the gift-giver knowing my love of Che but unaware of the ideology of the book. so, after tolerating about 2 or 3 chapters...I put it down quickly. if you want to read a fictional account of Che denouncing everything he ever stood for -- this is the book to read.

I didn't ever finish it... so if anyone has.. tell me how it went.

It was written by Gary Hart?!

...Now that's something that I wouldn't imagine.

ah that's messed up. wtf does Gary Hart know, and how does he come off using this book as anti-leftist propaganda. If it weren't for the maturity of the left, then many people here would write many things denouncing the right.

Che's not alive. Pics of his dead body were released in Companero, and pics of his bones are actually on this site.

Lol, if he is alive, i think he'd make his presence felt. I dont think he'd sit down passively and watch horrible things in the world since 1967 unfold. Hah.

It is a total piece of crap!

The premise is that Che anonymously returns to Cuba, somehow manages to convince Fidel to retire, and bourgeois democracy is restored.

I actually read the whole thing (from the public library)...and I am really sorry I wasted 5 minutes on it!

Don't buy it!
