Morning Star are celebrating fifty years of publication. This excludes when they were known as Daily Worker from 1930 to 1966. What do you think of Morning Star? Best articles? Best editors? Best periods? Worst articles? Worst editors? Worst periods?

It was when my father was briefly a member of YCL that name of the party newspaper changed. Used to sell it outside the shipyard gates and was involved in many a fist fight.

He then left and joined the Young Socialists(as the youth wing of the Labour Party was then called) and became a respectable social-democrat:glare:

I didn't vote as I am not old enough to remember them all. I am a fan of John Haylett though. I kind of wish he would return.
