According to DailyKos, members of the Plumber' Union from all over t (http://www.dailykos.com/stories/2016/2/1/1478092/-Plumbers-union-members-from-across-the-country-install-water-filters-in-Flint)he country traveled to Flint on Saturday to install Water Filters for free. As you probably already know, Flint has been having a massive water crisis for a couple of years now. But it only really came to public attention over the last few weeks.

Filters by themselves cannot completely protect people from lead exposure, but it definitely helps.

That's a nice article to read for once!

I hadn't heard of the problems in Flint with regards to the water until this article popped up in my twitter feed, truly shocking!

Yeah, when Moore went on MSNBC and started talking about how horrid it was, and not just because of the crisis but how bad conditions were beforehand, I was shocked. Maybe I shouldn't have been, but it's so easy to forget some places in this country are legitimately like those of third world countries. One grocery store for the whole city, one school nurse for a whole school district. Appalling.
