It might be able to beat us at Go, up until the point where we decide to "give" the computer a cup of water :P the interesting thing is that we can build a computer that can completely master a game, but this is only because a game features a specific set of moves and clearly defined rules. Life is still more complex.

You do realize that there were already robots of this capacity several years ago. Just a few years ago a supercomputer had beaten a world class Soviet chessmaster. While a supercomputer had beaten a guy in jeopardy too, this isn't new.
