Hello. I'm Áine, and I'm a University student in Ireland.

I'm not such a newbie to leftism. For the last number of years I've been interested in learning more, but as a student, my attention was constantly brought to other matters. However, I'm now trying to seriously engage with the various strands of radical leftism. For example, I've just reread 'The Communist Manifesto'. I found really liked what I read as well as agreeing with what Marx was discussing.

I hope by using this forum I'll eventually become even a little bit more knowledgeable in radical left-wing thought. So maybe you will hear from me from time to time :) .

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

Welcome! Give Socialism: Utopian and Scientific, Critique of the Gotha Programme a go, as well as The German Ideology, and the 1844 Manuscripts a read.

All can be found on the marxists.org selected works list except the 1844 Manuscripts, which can be found here: marxists.org/archive/marx/works/sw

Removed clickable links as I have less than 25 posts, so I can't post links.

Welcome to the forum. I stumbled upon this site 12 years ago when I was looking to learn more about leftist thought as well. I've had several mentors from here that truly changed my life. If you stick around, you will find it really is a community and will make friends and comrades worldwide. Great to have you here.
