Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

It appears you've been around for quite some time. What are your own particular political beliefs?

i am a marxist-leninist just like the vast majority of turkish leftists. but secularism is one of the most important things for me because in middle east we always have the risk of theocracy.i think it must be considered as a form of fashism.(maybe not the medival ones, because they were not capitalists so they can't be fashists either)sometimes i argue against myself that my antiphaty to religous organisations come from old days(i am an ex-kemalist) but when i remember the pratices of them i see that i am rightful.
i also do some reasoning to find solutions about kurdish question and i give importance to equality of man and woman but i dont actively participate in it because i think women activism must be done by women.

Why are you ex-kemalist? I've always wondered what kemalism is about.

Perhaps he wants to hear it from an ex-kemalist himself.
I wonder what a normal person finds out if they google "Communism"

Uh huh.

I can't imagine always wanting to know something but never thinking to just Google it. Wikipedia have a fairly in depth article on it. You'd think that might be a good starting point: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kemalism

They didn't ask what Kemalism was, per se, which they might already know, but they might want more of an account of the overall significance of Kemalism, etc.

In any case, welcome, Starandpunch.
