Most other leftist forums I've been to were pretty reactionary, to say the least. I'd rather stay away from political forums altogether and have a much more enjoyable and actually productive time on forums that deal with a specific issue.

That forum that RedKobra tried to mention is OK, with some interesting discussion, but the amount of bickering and flaming that goes on there (between a tiny little group of active posters, no less) makes this place look like Sesame Street.

That forum started as an split from this one so most members had or have accounts here too. They had forum raids here where they would spam their forum here in every thread so we had to block out there name to stop it, guess we could unblock it now.

EDIT: There's also Reddit /communism, although [from what I read] they are mostly stallies and sub-trends of stalinism, with some trotskysts and lux's.

Red Marx collapsed about a year ago. Despite an initially high level of debate (though a lot of bad tempers, I recall) it quickly degenerated. It's now dead, as far as I know.
