How would the day in the life of, let's say, someone who works at a hotel along the freeway, change under communism? Also, why would anyone work as a janitor there if they weren't in scarcity? If no one wanted to clean the hotel, would the travelers/patrons visiting it be responsible for vaccumming, taking care of the pool, etc.? Will a whole new communist infrastructure be required to facilitate communism effectively?

If a Soviet scientist can neatly assemble a stealth fighter plane then he can also neatly manage a communist hotel. Managing a hotel simply dictates the manager to do simple accounting principles and manage an efficient well organized laundry system. Assembling a stealth fighter Soviet plane takes a genius to do them.
