Hey, just wondering if anyone knew any good links or books with info about some of the most wealthy capitalists in America during the 1920's. Thanks

That's a really good question.

After the era of the infamous "robber barons", the capitalist class began keeping a much "lower profile".

Probably the most infamous capitalist of the 1920s was the pro-Nazi Henry Ford and his Ford Motor Company.

Those were also glory years for William Randolph Hearst -- the Rupert Murdoch of his era.

But a lot of names don't readily spring to mind...at least not my mind.

I would try a google search along the lines of...

"business + leaders + United + States + 1920's" and see what kinds of references turn up.

The Bush Family were HUGE in the 30's, before politics, no?

I think so, Prescott Bush was a big time investment banker and oil barron. He was a major financial supporter of Nazi Germany.
