Could've been serious, but at the end of the day he was promoting religious nationalism. I guess this prompts more stuff about national liberation struggles seeing as in some cases nationalism and religion are quite deeply intertwined, and neither are desirable.

The BA have access to information that can be traced across the Internet. They weren't in India and it seemed highly unlikely they were a Sikh nationalist.
