What are your political ideas, if anything in particular?

I came to socialism later in life after years of working in the oil industry in western Canada. I believe that our current political system here is not capable of supporting itself much longer.The workers here are getting milked dry by the imperialistic shenanigans of our politicians. It doesnt matter what big party we have in, they are just slaves to big business much like elsewhere in the world. I believe a real socialist alternative must be pursued here in Canada. Thanks for the welcome.
