Have you no other method of expressing your beliefs other than having it printed on a rag for your child?

"The revolution will be commercialised!" <_<

What's fashionable is fashionable. The "Che Industry" is huge, sales of T-shirts, pins, and posters to disgruntled youth who don't even know who Ernesto Guevara is are at an all time high. Speaking of highs, many people confuse Che with marijuana advocacy! It's hilarious!

Excuse me but just because im young dont take for granted im a stupied unknowing youth.
And for your information im a drug activist so dont make the mistake of thinking I want my child wearing clothes with meaning that i mean something as stupied as drugs.
Is it so horrible to want to cloth your child in something that shows character and values of what the parent beleaves in. People do it all the time with crosses on children so why cant I show my ideals with Che?

Congratulations on your baby! Do you know if it's gonna be a boy or a girl?
Yeah, you'd probably have to get your babys clothes custom made or something. This is the first time I've ever heard of someone wanting to dress up their kid with che's image, woah.

very correct... better to raise a person in reality than in some fantasy "haven".... but of course not too much reality... :(

Congrats on the baby...I dont think I've ever seen baby clothes with che's image or anything revolutionary. Wait...yeah I have...remember seeing a baby shirt in Berkeley that had a hammer and sickle saying "the republic of berkeley" or something...
Anyway, I understand what you mean. Whenever I plan to have kids, I will definently influence their minds at a young age with leftist ideals. That's why my kids father will definently have to be leftist also.
Goodluck on your baby :) Your already raising him/her in the right direction lol

I hope to shit you can't buy Che baby clothes.. What your doing is using the child as a living propaganda for your beliefs, that makes you no better than the religious zealots who dress children in all kinds of strange paraphenalia.. Kids like giraffes, and pandas are anything but creepy...

I changed my mind, in fact I'm going to bring out a che, baby line.. Maybe Fidel's khaki fatigues could be re-created for kids, shit, why not? :D

Damn those evil Giraffes, panda's and teddy bears, these babies need revolutionary ferver, clad them in camoflage and balaclava's.. indoctrinate them while they are still in the womb..

note: I am joking

yea really. don't buy the image, either make it yourself or do not use your baby as a political statement. Why not let the child grow up and then show him/her their old baby clothes, see what he/she thinks about it.

Using a baby, that can't speak for itself, to reflect your own beliefs is quite wrong in my oppinion. If you really like Che so much, then make a shirt for yourself. Or better yet, buy some of Che's books.

I don't think any ideals shoould be forced upon a child, a socialist upbringing is a good idea, but let him/her make their own conclusions. After all, a five year old won't understand what a "workers revolution" is.

Indeed, there is place about a block from here (Berkely Califrnia) called "Revolution Books" full of commie stuff, extremely good prices (the pricse are made for working class kids) and they stock bibs/shirts/etc sporting Che/hammerandsickel/Mao Tse Tung.

Congrats on the baby....but yes my first thoughts as i read the title article of this thread...

you might as well sign your kid up for revolutionary service now, if you've already planned out what they are going to believe...

just because you have leftist ideals doens't mean your kid should or will... the same applies to all beliefs and doctrines in my oppinion.

Im not telling him he has to be anything Id just rather when he asks me what type of baby clothes I wore or even as a toddler I can say that at least had meaning. Iv always hated the stupied things my parents dressed me in, and even if his ideals end up being the oppisite of leftist I still would hope that he knew his mommy had some sense of fashion..dont think im doing it for fashion if i was id be getting gucci baby just that nowadays most people think of che clothes as cool. Im very open in what he wants Im not forcing any religion on him either.Im wiccan but he can decide himself if he would rather muslim, christian, or nothing. Actully The only thing im doing somewhat forebly is him being vegan while he cant make decisions later on if he wants to pig out on a cow im fine but since my diet is vegan I see feeding him stewed beef as freaky.
Also on the note i should make them myself...hahaha you never saw me try to knit or draw...stick figures end up unreconizable.

yeah, Arthur Rock, not too long ago I saw a t-shirt on a lone little girl of all but maybe 8. on black shirt with white lettering, the front said "I survived." the back said.. "a third of my generation was wiped out. End abortion now."

A very controversial little shirt for someone who undoubtly doesn't even have to decide what kind of tampons to use. Very bad judgment, I thought, on the part of her caretakers, which were nowhere to be seen.

Just call me Arthur,

That's ugly! Especially considering the subject, though whatever the statement, a child should not be used to make it.. I feel..

ImmortalOphelia; I'm no doctor (at least not of conventional medicine) but I would question the wisdom of feeding a baby only vegan foods...

you could just buy the baby clothes and then take them to a place and have them screen printed with an image that you like.

that's what I would do :)
