Hello all, Odonian here.
I am an anarchist and I hail from the South Bay Area of California. There isn't much of a "scene" here as far as anarchism goes, at least that I can tell. Politically, I would say I'm an anarcho-, communist and trans-humanist, and I am anti-drudgery. I originally came to be an anarchist by means of a funny little joke called Discordianism. Also a book by Ursula K. LeGuin, called the Dispossessed. I would say I started to grow intellectually in anarchism on the writings of Kropotkin. His warm frankness and clarity I find to be a treasure compared to later writers.
I study anarchism, as politic and philosophy, as an avocation. My true calling is history, my area of interest it the History of Espionage in Central Asia, also known as the Great Game.
