I heard Marx came up with some theory of change called Dianectics, I also know Marx was full of shit.
I'm not sure whether I should learn Dianectics or not, should I?

Dialectical materialism (sometimes abbreviated diamat) is a philosophy of science and nature, based on the writings of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, and developed largely in Russia and the Soviet Union.[1][2] It was inspired by dialectic and materialist philosophical traditions. The main idea of dialectical materialism lies in the concept of the evolution of the natural world and the emergence of new qualities of being at new stages of evolution. As Z. A. Jordan notes, "Engels made constant use of the metaphysical insight that the higher level of existence emerges from and has its roots in the lower; that the higher level constitutes a new order of being with its irreducible laws; and that this process of evolutionary advance is governed by laws of development which reflect basic properties of 'matter in motion as a whole'."[3]

Later on in life Marx renounced dialectics and became a follower of L. Ron Hubbard and his idea of dianectics. This is often ignored by Marx scholars but it must be considered when studying Marxism as a whole. It must also be stressed that Marx too renounced materialism in his later life and subscribed to Hubbardian scientology, supposedly claiming that it is the "one true religion", in which he told non-scientologists to "fuck off."

Ultimately this is apples-and-oranges -- the dimension of *scale* is applicable, since 'dianetics' is basically a clinical approach for the *individual* and their own psychological / life-path issues, while Marxism is about meta-individual *society* and wholescale political economy.
Other critics and medical experts have suggested that Dianetic auditing is a form of hypnosis [...]

Scientology teaches that the OT-III course can disperse the thetan clusters as well as the frightening mental images that were "implanted" in the thetans after the explosion. These images included "God, the devil, spinning dancers, auto accident, trains, the Crucifixion, psychiatrist, doctors dismembering bodies and feelings of nausea sickness and spinning sensations,"
