I have no idea since I'm not a member. What I was talking about, though, is the reflexive reference to the US whenever the problems of other imperialist powers are brought up. It's something you hear a lot of in Europe, since the US government is hated both for its very real crimes, and out of a form of cultural snobbism (Americans - USians, at least - are stereotypically overweight and undereducated), and it lets people minimise the problem of their own societies. It's heard a lot concerning the refugee crisis, for example. The way some people talk you would imagine the migrants are in Minneapolis, not Macedonia.
