I posted about this new communist organization of trans workers and students a few months ago, but that post seems to have gone missing. It was formed in Austin, Texas earlier this year, with a program based around fives axes of liberatory struggle: solidarity, revolutionary socialism, trans proletarian feminism, self-determination, and anti-imperialism. Since then, it's expanded to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; the Puget Sound region of Washington State; Portland, Oregon; and Brisbane, Australia.

Is this the original post you made? (http://www.revleft.com/vb/revolutionary-alliance-trans-t193221/index.html)

Yes, it is. Where was it hiding? I don't see it in Discrimination at all.

That's strange. It was the first suggestion among the related posts at the bottom of the screen. It might be that the forums are set up so that posts older than a certain limit don't show up any more, but I'd have to look into it.

That would explain it. I posted the original in June, and the oldest post I can see in the forum is from mid-July.

Anyway, what I forgot to mention, is that since my original post, I've become active in RATPAC's Puget Sound branch.

Have you heard any more details about the structure/program?

I will be interested to see this spread, geographically but also away from facebook. It's such an unsafe place to be trans or left wing or consistently proletarian minded etc so I'm a little bewildered at the choice, but I guess it was what worked best for the founders or whatever. I just hope something good comes from this, it sounds promising!:)
