What a fucking disgusting pile of shit passing off as intelligent content. This kind of trash appeals so much to pseudointellectuals. It's freaking pathetic how they package so many stereotypically smartass-style sentences and think this actually makes them 'clever'.

Shit like that is embarrassing and a fucking travesty. It's a product of the anti-intellectual cretinism which permeates every crevice of contemporary pseudo-scientific "intellectual" culture.
Notice how she didn't present any reliable evidence to support her argument at all. She just bombarded the unfortunate reader with vacuous assertions piled upon more vacuous assertions, in order to not only justify sexist generalisations but also the supposed inherent philistinism of women. That's because her shitty arguments would never hold up to scrutiny, and they would be exposed as being absolutely cretinous and untenable.
Never before has the patriarchal mindset been so perfectly exemplified by this article:
Yes, let's all sacrifice our self-identity and individuality in order to conform to patriarchal ideals and live our lives as if we're sexual commodities. Yay!
It advocates nothing but self-sacrifice and conformity. Let us treat the people who spew these ideas with all the contempt we are capable of. They're nothing but pseudo-intellectual philistines.

If classical conditioning can get people to think long hair and dresses are feminine, and short hair and neckties are masculine, you have to wonder just how far classical conditioning can go.
But as with any phenomenon we observe, there are different ways to go at it. If a capitalist is preventing people from eating, on the one hand, you can physically stop the capitalist, while on the other hand, remove the motivation from the capitalist for behaving like that. Similarly, if existing standards of beauty can give you power if you behave in a certain way, you may want to exploit that power, even as you overthrow the underlying basis of that power - like Engels funding Marx.
It's kind of arbitrary to even assume that "getting men" should be a goal of anybody. People can be happy with almost anything, as any ascetic can tell you. But the key is the ability of those ideas or attitudes to become widespread. If certain memes are widespread but cause suffering, then there is more incentive among the meme carriers to overthrow those ideas.
