What are the issues facing (or caused by) the social democracy of the Nordic countries?

That it's still capitalism, for one. It is subject to the ebbs and flows of the globalized capitalist economy, it is inefficient by capitalist standards and thus unsustainable without the benefits of first-world countries exploiting the third-world. Finally, the fact that establishing a strong welfare state and empowering the workers (which is part of the Nordic model) runs counter to the interests of the capitalist class, especially during times of low class consciousness when placating the workers is not as important as maximizing profit - therefore, it is not something that can be taken for granted.
