The arguments of our resident reformists (that is, the majority of the frequent posters on this forum) seem to have changed.
Previously they would argue for a reformist, class-collaborationist road to socialism. They would advocate schemes by which capitalism could be made better, in the mean time.
Now they have become more honest. They no longer promise reforms, they argue that the workers deserve what capitalism gives them, because the workers are not revolutionary.
They have made the transition from reformists out of power, who promise reforms to capitalism, to reformists in power, who have their cops shoot down workers in defense of capitalism.
All the more pathetic because in their case, the grand transition is entirely vicarious.
