No hyperbole here. That's exactly what he says. (http://mediamatters.org/blog/2015/08/19/ia-radio-host-jan-mickelson-enslave-undocumente/205020)

I can't add anything else. This is what it has come to. Conservatives endorsing slavery.

Not wage slavery (which is slavery, but we're talking mainstream politics here, not hard labor in prison, but actual honest-to-God slavery.

And don't think this is just some lone nut, either. Remember, Donald Trump is currently leading in the polls among republican voters.

I don't want to freak out and say that this is a sign of a rising tide of fascism in America...but it's rather stunning, isn't it?

Sounds like some moronic rightwing hack trying to get an audience by being more outrageous than the rest of them.

Before I clicked on the link I thought it was going to be about Michael Savage. I used to listen to him sometimes on AM radio while I drove places, and this would be right up his alley. Illegal immigrants was one of his favorite topics to rant about (and homosexuals/homosexuality).

also, lol @ the statement "what's wrong with slavery?"

Such a shame propaganda of the deed is not in fad anymore.

Not even one of Mickelson's more convincing pieces; he sounds like he missed his coffee that morning. Media matters also credits him with being a "kingmaker" for the state of Iowa electorally but that's really bullshit. Iowa's a fairly reactionary place in the general picture, yet it's more tolerant toward immigrants than any of the border states are, and its policy proclivities run relatively moderate: Iowa lacks the death penalty, for instance.

I mean they pretty much are subjected to slavery already, also doesn't this defeat the whole "they're taking our jobs" argument?
